WoD for Tuesday June 5, 2012

Today is June 5th.  The anniversary of D-Day is tomorrow, June 6th.  During the Allied invasion on the beaches of Normandy the United States suffered 7,233 casualties.  Why the reminder today? On June 5th all Allied forces were made ready to deploy and the weather cancelled the invasion, but the American soldier was ready for any day.

Most of us will never get the call to storm a beach, defend a Green Zone, or hunt terrorists on foreign soils.  Most of us want to be ready for our next race, our next game, lifting your grandkids, etc…  Be ready and remember those that were and are ready for us.

Today’s WOD:

Press 5 x 5

10min AMRAP (as many rounds as possible)

10 Box Jumps

5 Knees to Elbows
